How are unique links or strings like Bitcoin wallet address generated? At one point it seems that checking if that string is taken seems not efficient, is it just taking the chance and hoping such string will never be generated again ?

Bitcoin wallet address not showing up for deposits
I'm looking to deposit bitcoin into my binance account, but whenever I select BTC the wallet address is not generated. Has anyone else experienced this or run into the same issue? Edit: This is for Binance in the US

Say someone were to have sent someone bitcoin to a wallet in question, and rather than try to surf through 4 different devices, one of which has about 20 wallet apps on it that i was looking through different options before deciding... ...is there a way to determine which app/program/carrieexchange the coin was sent to? The funds are still in the account and were sent this evening; I just wonder if there's a way I can find out which wallet/app these funds got sent to without going through each one individually. I just sent the wallet info about 2 months ago and dont remember which wallet I was using; as I have recently switched, and then the client decided to order materials after sending older wallet info. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Found my bitcoin wallet address, dont know where/how to access it....
Bare with me here, it's been a log time since I even looked at bitcoin but recently remembered I tried to setup a mining machine back in 2013. I found my account to Slush's Pool, and in there, I found my bitcoin wallet address. it starts with "1CXP" The issue I have now is, where/how the hell do I access my wallet?
